Calgel Gel is a topical medication designed to provide relief from teething discomfort in infants and young children.
This gel is specifically formulated to soothe sore gums, reducing pain and discomfort associated with teething.
Usage Instructions
Dosage: Apply a small amount of Calgel Gel to a clean fingertip and gently massage it onto the affected area of the infant's gums. Use as needed or as directed by a healthcare provider. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
Administration: Ensure that the infant's hands are clean before applying the gel. Rub the gel gently onto the gums using a clean finger or a cotton swab.
Ingredients
Calgel Gel typically contains the following active ingredients:
- Active Ingredients: Lidocaine Hydrochloride 0.33% w/w and Cetylpyridinium Chloride 0.02% w/w.
- Other Ingredients: Sorbitol Liquid, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Ethanol, Glycerol, Banana Flavour, Levomenthol, Saccharin Sodium, Caramel (E150), and Purified Water.
Warnings
- Do not use it if the infant is allergic to any of the ingredients.
- Avoid using Calgel Gel if the infant has a known history of methemoglobinemia.
- Consult a healthcare provider before use if there are any concerns or if the teething symptoms persist.
- Keep out of the reach of children. Always supervise infants during teething gel application.
- Store below 25°C (77°F). Protect from light.
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
