Description
TCP is a mild, aqueous liquid antiseptic and it gets its name from its original chemical name, Trichlorophenylmethyliodosalicyl, although this has not been used as the active ingredient since the 1950's.Soothes pain, fights infections. For sore throats, mouth ulcers, cuts, grazes, bites, stings & spots.
Usage
- For sore throat: dilute one part of liquid along with five parts of water and gargle it twice daily after meals
- For mouth ulcers: apply undiluted liquid thrice a day
Ingredients
Active ingredients: halogenated phenols 0.68% w/v and Phenol 0.175% w/v. Other ingredients: Glycerol, concentrated phosphoric acid, E104 (quinoline yellow), water
